Darkest Descent

Darkest Descent is an Action Roguelike RPG dungeon crawler that features endless replayability and a vast array of play styles. you can choose your own path through an ever-evolving  dungeon that is different every time you delve in. Create a unique character by crafting equipment to determine your class and playstyle.

A powerful dark wizard that threatened the realm once and was defeated has left behind as legacy a dungeon, with each floor protected by powerful monsters that grew stronger the further one delved. On each floor, a powerful boss defends an artifact of great powers. At the bottom most floor of the dungeon lay the wizard's greatest prize, the treasure he had kept hidden away.

The wizard might be dead but his last spell has cursed the land, resurrecting and controlling every monster. You, once a greater lich, gets risen once more from your eternal slumber to find that your powerful legacy has become nothing but a glimpse of the past. Not controlled by the wizard's curse, you in return want to find the source of it and make it your own and so you begin on a journey to bring back your legacy from the days of old by hunting artifacts and powerful spells while making a new cult of your own.

In the dungeon, with each new floor, challenge yourself with tougher enemies and more dangerous obstacles. Either you choose to go alone or with a companion you'll fight groups of enemies in an action based combat system.

During the main story you will be fighting enemies on random generated maps that will get gradually harder once you advance through the storyline.

You can customize your character appearance and weapons to your liking.  And with the transmog system you will be able to create endless variations of equipment and effects. Stats will be dictated by  the equipment that you will craft.
